Birmingham Photographer | Polling the Audience

I'm having issues. I'm gearing up to launch my new and improved website soon and I decided I would go ahead and make a few changes to the blog. I'm having a hard time figuring out what is the best for the most viewers. I have a 24" monitor so I can see these new huge images without scrolling left to right but I don't want it to be a pain for you having to scroll. So, tell me... Can you see the entire image without scrolling or not? Based on your feedback, I'm going to adjust accordingly.

Trussville Photographer | Mom made me do it

It was evident that this guy was only there to appease mom for his portraits. Usually that is a sure fire recipe for disaster, but not with this guy. A little bit of chatting about girls and video games and he perked right up. He's such a sweet and mild mannered young man. It was my pleasure photographing you, J, even if you didn't like being there! :)

Birmingham Photographer | Freezing on Morris

It was sooooo cold the day of this family's session. We braved the cold, got in and out of there quickly and got some great family shots. These go in my "All time favorite family shots" folder for sure!

Trussville Photographer | Fun family

These guys are the best! I just love it when moms really put thought into how outfit choices will affect the overall feel of the images and this mom did just that. It doesn't hurt being a good looking family too! The youngest little guy, oh my, he was a hoot! It was my pleasure meeting you guys!

Birmingham Bad Blogger Photographer | Humor me

I am going through my 2009 images getting ready to archive and I just realized that through the holidays, otherwise known to photographers as November and December chaos, that I didn't post images from my sessions to my blog. Shame on me! There were too many cute ones to just copy them to an external for them to live there for eternity. So, yes, I know its February. Yes, I know I'm way late... please forgive me!

Birmingham Photographer | Tannehill... Well worth the price of admission

Dear this past weekend,
The weather was great! I wish you would have stuck around a little bit longer. Please come back.
Sincerely,
Ms. I have Spring fever baaaaaad

We just had to get out this weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather. We decided on Tannehill State Park. It was the perfect place to spend a beautiful weekend day. I never realized how perfect a place it is for portraits. Thank goodness my little muse doesn't mind having a paparazzi momma. I have about 300 shots to go through so you may see more of these later. I just couldn't help but share a few of my favorites! If you are considering a Spring session, please consider Tannehill. A small admission fee does apply, but it's well worth it!

Pretty Blue Eyes

This little one has my heart! She is just so full of love and spunk and energy too. You can't find a child with more personality anywhere. That says a lot coming from the mom of Mr. Personality. Aunt Ki-Ki loves you Kylie Boo!

My faux furry friends

Get out! Are they not too stinkin' ca-ute? (Double click the image for a larger view!) I was so excited unwrapping them from their mounds of packaging this morning. These are the cutest little guys ever! Definately my best prop purchase ever. I had to snap a few quick shots of them so you could see just how realistic they are. And the best part... they haven't moved a muscle, made a mess or a noise! These little guys will be here for all upcoming sessions through April. If you'd like to schedule a session with these sweet furry guys, call or email me as soon as possible. Mini sessions are filling up quickly and I have very limited availability for Saturdays in March and April.

Spring Minis

I'm so excited about my Spring minis this year. The bunnies and ducklings are adorable! Because of my full time job (being my family's CFO, CEO, secretary, chef & maid), I am only going to offer 1 date for minis. Of course you can do a full session anytime and we will bring the bunnies and ducklings with us if you can't make the minis. There are 8 sessions remaining at this time so if you would like to schedule this event, please call or email as soon as possible.

Session fee required at time of booking. No refunds allowed. In the event of rain, we will have a make up date the following weekend.
