McCalla Photographer | A&F Guys

I ♥ when moms unload a car full of clothes! This mama didn't just have a carload of clothes... she had a Hummer full of perfect clothes. We had a great time on Morris Avenue this weekend with these two guys. They are so funny and just full of personality. I think they may have had their pictures made a time or two thousand!

Birmingham Photographer | One of the many reasons...

One of the many reasons I love doing photography is all the new people I get to meet. While very few have become life long friends, each and every person I meet teaches me, inspires me or motivates me. I love in home sessions for this very reason. Each time I am welcomed into some one's home, I am always seeing unique things that I love! Sometimes it is landscaping ideas, interior design ideas, well the last family I visited gave me a great new recipe. Hence this post. Mom was having a snack that I couldn't quite figure out what it was. My curiosity was killing me so I had to ask, "What the heck is that?" She kindly offered me a taste and as skeptical as I was, I tried it. As Emeril would say, "BAM!" It was good, no, great, no, it was fantastic. I memorized the recipe (Thank God it was easy!) as she gave it to me. You have to try this. This is what you need. Thin steak, cream cheese, banana peppers and I marinated mine in Dale's for a little bit.

She said you get a very thin steak and make it even thinner with a meat tenderizer. I ended up buying bottom round steak I think it was. Then you put a blob (No, there is no scientific measurement for how much) of cream cheese on one end and a few pieces of banana pepper and roll it up.

Then you roll it the other direction in bacon. Then grill them. Then enjoy! You might want to make extras for lunch the next day. We were having them cold out of the fridge and they were still wonderful.

Alabaster Photographer | The Triple Threat

I met these three cuties on Morris Avenue Saturday. They were so full of personality-- and trains too. Thomas the Train made a cameo in almost every image of the little guy. I was so glad to be able to see them again. It's been far to long! Your gallery will be to you shortly.

Birmingham Photographer | What to Wear Wednesday

I got a mailer from Children's Place today and I love the look of their children's holiday line this year. I paired a big boys, baby boys and big girl look for this weeks What to wear Wednesday. It would be super simple to coordinate parents clothing with this. Black, red and white... who can't find something to go with that? Or better yet, you probably already have something in your closet that will work.

And, if you are on their mailing list, you probably just got 15% coupons in the mail this week too!

Hoover Photographer | Huge Impact

I never thought I could be so in love with a inanimate object. This canvas is amazing, truly a work of art! It's an impressive 24" x 36". Massive I tell you. I'm on a mission to get the perfect shot of my little guy to order one for me too.

Here it is... A whopping two feet by three feet!

And here it is in comparison to two measly framed prints I had handy. They are 5x7 and 8x10.

I can't wait to give this to its rightful owner.
